Greensboro’s own Mark Robinson, former lieutenant governor, former porn shop superfan, and lifelong pro-wrestling devotee, is looking for a new title: YouTube star.

Robinson has had quite a time since his failed bid for governor in 2024. He was parodied on SNL, filed suit over the veracity of stories about him, and then admitted they were true and that he lied during the campaign.

Now, with with a YouTube show called Mark Robinson Unscripted, he is attempting to return to public life. In episodes spanning from about 10-13 minutes, Robinson praises President Donald Trump, criticizes the celebration of Juneteenth and denounces Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams as insufficiently masculine.

This week, after three episodes, the channel has 125 subscribers.
